News from Nationals

STARS INTENSIVE

Stars National has announced the dates of the upcoming 2009 STARS Fall Dance Intensive! One of two Intensives will take place in Santa Clarita, California October 17 and 18. A 2nd Intensive is being planned to take place in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Dennis Caspery [Founder, OC Intensive], Lauren Gottlieb [3rd season of "So You Think You Can Dance"] and Trent Dickens are scheduled staff for the Intensives. Stars received many, many compliments regarding Mr. Caspery after his introduction class at the National Competition in June. Ms. Gottlieb has been touring the convention circuit with "Co. Dance" since her time on SYTYCD (07) and her resume' is very impressive. She comes highly recommended for her choreography and her ability to teach and interact with the dancers. Trent Dickens will be teaching hip hop. Trent is a rising star in the hip hop world. He was recently in "Dance Flicks".

Congratulations Alexis!

NMx soloists Alexis G. claimed Dance Champion titles at both Regionals and Nationals! While her scores were high at REgionals, they were even higher at Nationals with one perfect score of 100. Alexis is the eldest daughter of Julie and Alex; she works hard in dance class, is an outstanding student at school and is a great role-model for her younger siblings. Congratutlations Alexis!
